Cohort Analysis
The Cohort analysis will display your subscribers' or clients' retention score. The date column shows the date a customer or customers subscribed. The subscribed column indicates the number of customers who subscribed on that date. The numbers in blue indicate the number of months a specific customer stayed with the company before unsubscribing. If you have a customer who has stayed subscribed for more than 128 months, as shown in the example, the chart will display the corresponding months of retention. The bold number shown in the bolded box indicates the number of customers who have unsubscribed. These bolded numbers align with their corresponding monthly retention total. Please note: Multiple customers hold their subscription for the same number of months before unsubscribing.
You will need a list of raw data that includes at least customer names, ID numbers (or both), as well as subscription start and end dates.
The slicer to the left of the Data Table will help consolidate the list, allowing you to view specific customers according to their retention score.
